Does anyone here have any experience ordering from Ireland? I'm curious of how much import fees/customs fees you need to pay for example if you're buying a GPU or other items more than £600? Any problems w/ delivery or customs hold?

There's actually no VAT when I try to checkout the products so I'm curious if I'll be paying more than 20% from other duties/customs fees when the package arrive in Ireland. Any previous experience from Ireland folks will be highly appreciated.

You are charged VAT when it arrives in the UK, the courier will pay it on your behalf and send you a bill including duties.

Some retailer in the EU charge VAT on purchase but if they don’t then you will be liable when it lands here.

It’s not about buying from Ireland, it’s about buying from everywhere else not in the UK. (There are exceptions)

I could be reading it wrong but I think the OP means ordering something here for delivery to Ireland...

Yes, that's correct. I'm ordering in Overclockers website and shipping it to Ireland.
Then you are the exporter. the recipient at the other end pays the custons charges their end.

You might want to look up what Ireland duties, VAT and fees are before landing the recipient with a large bill.

The OP is the importer/recipient and will be responsible for paying import VAT (23%), fees and any applicable customs duty.
