How much to charge?

Hi people,
I am currently starting to do a website for a local Youth Club.But they need me to do them a invoice. Now Ive already said i will o the site for £200. But They need me to say a price for when it needs upating (once a week).

I tried saying to them that I cant just say a price as it dependson how much work needs doing etc. But they need a price. So how much would you say? so far its just a small website.

Charge an hourly rate maybe? Minimum charge of the weekly update will be 1 hours work?

How much you think an hour of your time is worth X how many hours it takes you to update the website per week.

k, but how much? I reallydont knowhow much to charge.Imused to jst saying a 1off price for mates etc. but this is for a proper company

Well, how mch time did the site take to build? £200/time in hours = hourly rate for maintenance as well.

The club probably don't have that much money, so whatever you charge it shouldn't be ridiculous.

They are a small club, but part of Connexions. Its connexions I have got to invoice

Well as an applications developer my company charges £850/day for the use of my services.

Which is about £121/hr, and since you're doing this professionally i.e. invoicing them, you might aswell charge business rates

90% of the market rate, with a proviso that you are paid for time spent there including delays?
