How much to fix an aerial?

Sorry this isnt the most exciting thread! I cant receive more than 1 channel on my freeview box, so need my aerial adjusting, roughly how much does it cost to get this fixed? I live in London by the way.

Thanks!:)

Yep, didnt do anything. Even just using analogue we only get 4 channels, one of those being channel 5 for some reason!

anywhere up £200 depending what needs doing.

You might need new aerial and built in booster, depending how strong your signal is.

Parents got there aerial sorted about 3 years ago, new aerial new cabling and built in 4 way booster. cost around the 200 mark including fitting from a local firm, sounds a lot but well worth doing. Most small local firms will come and give you a free quote.

Have a look at your neighbour's houses to see what aerial they have - you will probably need something similar. Ask your neighbours as well. Also get more than one quote.

Wow thats pretty pricey! Well I share a house with a few people, and might not be staying here longer than another 3 months so for £200 there no way I will do anything, I thought all they had to do was adjust the angle of the Aerial and thats it, ah well.

Thanks v much for the advice guys:)

As I said it depends on what you already have and how strong the signal is.

You can tell if its facing the right way, look at the rest of the houses in the street, if just yours is different borrow a ladder and go move it.

I just had a new ariel fitted to the roof, left the old one there for the other rooms, but I had a new one fitted and a single cable going to my room for my freeview.

It cost me £60, and I live in Manchester.

Yellowpages job.
