How much warranty on XFX Products?

Ok i have an XFX7800 GTX XXX Extreme edition, and was wondering how much warranty you get on the XFX cards? i know that asus have 2 Years on most their products and was wondering if XFX have the same sort of thing?

Apologies for the rubbish spelling I'm a n00b

I got the same card, main reason i purchased that manufacturer as it said it was lifetime warranty, seems now that the supplier had it listed wrongly, i beleive that card has a 3 year warranty as i did some digging around when i found out i did'nt have lifetime when i thought i did.

I'll definately by buying BFG or even EVGA (step up programe maybe handy) in future unless there are some ATI card which have lifetime warranty and the next ATI cards out perform what ever nvidia has at the time?

Given that they are all the same card under the sticker. I know some of us keep cards a long while, which is fair enough. But I can't say I've kept a card long enough to consider a lifetime warranty that important. From the second hand POV retail warranties aren't transferable and none of the manufacturers mentioned allow you to transfer their extended warranty. Then I usually go for the one with the best support vs lowest cost.

I got sent the wrong card the other day (was after an eVGA 8800GTS with 10yr warranty and step-up) and got sent the XFX by mistake, 3 yrs warranty on it.

The firm that sent it me rang and said they had mucked up there stock and had no eVGA but had the XFX which came with only a 3 year warranty.

I then emailed XFX and spoke to a couple of other stockists to confirm the 3 years. Didn't open the box incase I couldn't get a refund.

Great thanks for that. Btw, it doesn't matter under distance selling regs, you have 7 days to return it even if opened.

Yeah I know, just they are a good bunch where I got it from, always go out of the way to help, so rather than send them an opened card back I thought I would be good about it.

Had the parts for two PC's off them same day so using the eVGA 7900 GS KO for now (until I can make my mind up on a 24" LCD it won't make too much difference) until I order the eVGA 8800 from OC tomorrow.

Definitely persuaded me that eVGA were the way to go though. Had a look at the XFX website, support doesn't look half as good as eVGA and the 7900 that turned up looks so damn good too.

Going back to the DSR, I am lead to believe that if they have T&C's showing a restocking fee for used items (20% in this case), you have no choice but to pay it. Can't be bothered with the risk when we are talking about £70.

yes plus they sent you the wrong card. so you can send it back. plus i dont buy xfx cards anymore their support is crap, had too wait 2 months for a replacement from a new card and then they sent me a reconditioned card.

I waited over 5 months to get my asus FX 5800 replaced, first time i sent it back i waited 2 months for it to be fixed, the second time i got a 5900 inplace of it but over 5 months is just silly.
