How Much Warning Before Nvidia Release

I'm desperate to upgrade, I bought a 1050 as a stop gap some months back after waiting since I built a new Ryzen system last year & the GPU prices went through the roof. Right after I bought the 1050 the prices dropped a bit. :mad:I don't want to fall in that trap again. When the new Nvidias are released it is doubtful that they will be in my price range so I'll be looking at 1070s or 1080s. I'm only interested in new (not used) so I'll have to move fast.

So when they give us an official launch date how much notice do the tend to give, days, weeks, months?

EDIT I'm not asking you how soon it will be until release. Just the amount of notice they tend to give

Maybe my question wasn't clear. I'm not asking if it is releasing soon or about stock levels. Or for your predictions on release date itself.

When they make the announcement of the launch date, will they announce it the day of the release or a week before the release, or a month before? What is the normal pattern?
