I've been sorting loft insulation and it's the first time using heating in anger since renovating a property. We've been renting for some time with oil and subsidised electricity and so not sure if my bills are high or average.
We're in a four bed property using a gas combi for heating, two adults two kids. Standard variable tariff with eon next, no solar, but we have underfloor heating downstairs.
November costs were £75 electric £180 gas but we had no loft insulation in place. We had a really cold snap end of November too
December costs were £70 electric and £130 gas fully insulated
If anyone doesn't mind sharing costs for the same months that would be appreciated
