I've found myself drinking about a bottle of wine a night these day (over the course of about 4-6 hours). I really enjoy it, but I realise I probably can't carry on doing this forever...

How much is everybody else drinking?
 
When with the girlfriend 2 bottles between us if were having a night in with a film or something. Don't drink it too often, twice a month odd. Last time I had wine on a night out I was not good.
 
I'll often have 2-3 glasses so probably 1/2 a bottle. I can't take my 13yo daughter to the pub and I enjoy the odd glass.

Emo's not what it used to be :p
 
No qualms enjoyin a bottle to myself: a third or so goes in the cooking anyway :)

Maybe a few bottles a week.
 
1 bottle is not enough , so i have 2 bottles on a night , maybe twice per month.
in fact tonight is one of those nights.

If your drinking a bottle a night... you have a problem IMO

I have probably 2-3 glasses a week of a reasonable red wine - a cabernet sauvignon or shiraz usually.
 
It's an acquired taste. Didn't used to much like it either, but many glasses with the dinner over the years have led to a thorough enjoyment of the old fermented grape juice. ;)

Not as much as I used to. Maybe a bottle a week. At the moment I'm mostly drinking beer and gin. A bottle a night, every night sounds a little excessive to me. That's about 70 units a week.
 
Not every single night, and sometimes less than a bottle. But Saturdays normally counter that by drinking 8/9 pints of cider/lager. :rolleyes:

But these posts are confirming what I feared, I'm drinking far too much! :(
 
Yep, better cut down now before I get hooked! :o

I assume half a bottle an evening is OK? Don't trust the official NHS units recommendation tbh though - reckon they will always overstate these things. Could be wrong though of course.
