A company who build race engines want to use some of my images on their new website and wish to know how much i want for the use.....

Any ideas on how much to charge?

Use this guide. If your images are good don't be afraid to quote those prices. They are totally realistic prices and people should be made aware that this is the price of photography. If you're a little scared of quoting high figures knock off a percentage. GL

Ask them to get you pit and press passes to various motor racing events instead.

What known benefit would a free pass offer ?

Don't undersell yourself, go for the price you think your images are worth!

A free pass give access to more photo opportunites which could mean more photos to sell!

How about you quote a price but offer a 15-20% reduction for future passes etc..

no chance - you never make money if you give stuff away gratis - especially on the back of a promise of this or that...
