Hi

How much do you need to spend on an LCD monitor to get the same quality as a CRT? I need to get a replacement for my CRT (xmas gift) so need to order quite soon.

Uh-oh...

In some ways you can't match the 'quality' of a CRT...LCD screens have different characteristics which some people can not acquiesce to. If you're asking for the price-point to get a non-objectionable screen then there're some nice-enough 19" widescreens for ~£120-150.

It depends what u mean by quality. If quality is paramount, why not just buy another CRT?
