Hey there,

I currently have 768MB of RAM in my laptop.

It started off with having 2 x 256 PC27000. I then bought a 512MB stick of PC3200, thinking i had a slot free, which i didn't.

So i need to sell my 2 x 256 PC2700 to someone and buy another PC3200 stick. The thing is, i don't kno whether to get a 1GB stick, or another 512MB. I will be getting Vista Home Premium on there aswell soon, and was wondering what you thought.

Which version of Vista are you getting? If it were me I'd sell all the sticks and get 2x1GB but then I'd be gaming. What do you use your laptop for and which graphics card do you have in it?

Vista Premium. It's a Compaq Presario V5031EA. It's definatly not a gaming laptop. It has ATi 200M graphics.
