How noisy is a 8800GTS/GTX

I am looking at getting a 8800GTS but I suspect the noise level would be similar to a GTX if not the same.

How noisy are they, especially when they are kinda in idle mode, just working on Windows applications or watching TV via Media center.

Having had the older AGP 6800 GTS and updating my entire system and running two in SLI I would say they are the same if not less noisy.....

I moved from a totally silent water cooled 6800u and was amazed by how much these things have advanced. You won't have a noise problem with the 8800's.

My GTS is one of the quietest stock coolers i've ever had

Stock cooler is very quiet, even with my old 8800gtx clocked @ 650/2000
