how noisy is stock cooler on powercolor X850XT

hello, just bought a Powercolor X850XT as part of a new set up & before building would like to know if the stock cooler is noisy or not. i am looking for quietest solution so considering a zalman kit or something but not sure if any advantage over stock cooler. can someone with one of these cards reply please, thanks

I have an Asus X850XT and I dont find the fan over intrusive even when playing BF2.

normal mode was ok but in use sounds like a damn spitfire ,one i had was anyway rest of card was fine though and a artic cooler sorted the noise out

use ati tray tools to reset the fan setpoints and the stock cooler will be fine. After a play with my settings mine will idle at 34'c - fan at 35% and under load hit 63 max - fan at 65%.

Depends on how quiet the rest of your PC is and how noisy it needs to be to annoy you. Personally i had to play games using earphones because of the whine it made till i changed it for a zalman cooler.
