How noticeable should G-Sync be?

Recently made a switch from a Dell 3014 to an Asus PG329Q.

Main gains I had in my head were increase in refresh rate and G-Sync.

Struggling to see what a difference the g-sync makes, where should you notice the biggest change?

It should remove the tearing effect you see when your refresh rate differs from the rendered fps in a 3d environment. Most noticeable to me when turning around fast in an fps game or something like that.

Ok, I never really noticed this affect before but guess it cant harm to have it there...!

Gsync also reduces vsync induced stutterring. Its just more fluid.

It's one of those things that if it's working and doing it's job you shouldn't really notice anything.

But definitely easy to appreciate when ELMB is on

Its easy to test with Pendulum demo - you will know in few seconds the difference between on/off
