How often do people fresh install Mac OS

Just curious as to how regularly people fresh install Mac OS?

Few months?
One year?

Since on my Windows machine I formatted quite regular to keep things running fast, and I know Mac look after themselves mainly.

Do you feel that is necessary?



Ah Vader, I guess so I do all basic maintinence history, cache, delete files when uninstall applications and also every couple of months I have seemed to have a fresh install although I think I will prolong the next time I refresh both machines as they run fine. Guess Im just a little paranoid after using Windows for so long.
