How often do Sony bring out new laptops?

I'm going to be buying a laptop for uni in the next few months and obviously want to get the best spec that I can to ensure it'll last me as long as possible. I really like the look of the Sony Vaio FE11S but I was wondering if they're likely to bring out a new range/revision before September?

Anyone know how often Sony bring out a new range of laptops?

Sony normally do a refresh every 3-5 months so it's entirely possible. The S Series went from S1 to S2 all the way up to S5 and was eventually replaced by the SZ series.

The SZ series has only just come out and they are stunning. Light, portable, powerful - you may want to consider this range.
