I can't see what enjoyment people get out of it at all. Lifting stuff and running/cycling/rowing on the spot just isn't fun to me in the slightest. I've been going twice a week and shall persevere, but grudge it.

Playing sport on the other hand is great fun.

Sport is definitely the most fun, but there is something immencely satisfying from maintaining a strict lifestyle and seeing yourself improve... especially with pull-ups (which are, you know, the hardest thing ever).

I should point out that my comment was intended to be read tongue in cheek. But I think my enjoyment comes from the fact I have three other friends that I go to the gym with... You can see it now, four ripped guys, posing and hosing down together. It's not really like that, but it's just a cool time to hang out together and get in shape.

I was doing 4/5 days at 30 mile round trips commuting.

I've been driving more but still hovering around 11stone. Did 60 miles last Wednesday and 30 on Monday. Probably do 60 again tomorrow.

I walk to school everyday so that is sort of light exercise, play football at lunch for about 50 mins each day, PE twice a week...

If im at my dad's in the hols I work 6 days a week (physical work) and use his gym everyday :p

I used to do 3 times a week but past year I've been lazy xD I have been up london walking loads recently though and I'm going to buy a bike lol.

None... and I've recently lost 29 lbs from just eating healthier, with 10 lbs to go.

10 years ago I used to gym it 3-4 times a week, now I'm too lazy :p well, that and having no gym partner now :(

3-5...

Ideally I'd go for a swim three times a week and gym twice a week, but as quite a few people probably know by now I'm having health issues that are restricting my ability to do Cardio. As such, I'm getting in about 3 'gym' sessions a week. (Don't actually go to the gym, but use stuff I've got at home)

I cycle to uni and back a couple of times a day most days as well, but that hardly counts as it's about a 5-8 minute bike ride...

God knows why you'd exercise 7 days a week... Where's your recovery day... Even when I used to swim (sometimes upwards of 8 times a week) we'd have 1 day off a week and maybe just do more than one session on one day...

Also, however bad it is, right now the fitness is all about the abs... Got 2 starting to come through so far xD

Try to do two good sessions a week... try. Mixture of running and weights when i do, not at the same time but you get what i mean :p

I just think that my main motivation for getting more fit than i currently am would be the ladies, but lets be honest, that's not happening whether i do it or not ;)

Really, really need to start exercising. 6ft 3inch (I think?) and 18 stone atm. Gonna get cycling at evenings now that summer is coming round, and see where I go from there.

Think it helps, and motivates, that my partner is obsessed with running, and does some weights as well.

Also having a stressful job helps too, nothing much beats coming back and doing some weights (well apart from the obvious!)

I often go running 2-3 times a week, between 5 and 8 miles a time, i've been trying to improve my stamina though, busted out 13.2 miles on Monday in 1hour 55 :)

Walk to and from work 5 days a week as well, 1.75miles each way at a brisk pace.
