How often do you re-install?

I have a 60GB SSD as my boot disk and it has been a year and is nearly full so should I re-install windows to clear some of the rubbish on there and how often should I be doing this if at all?

It has got to the point where there are files which have names I do not recognize so I don't know if I need them for other programs to work or not.

I have Windows 7 but like I said it is getting full up so I will re-install it and get my virginity back hopefully.

Is there a lite version of windows 7 as it takes about 15GB?
