How often do you replace Peripherals and Fans in your PCs

Hey,

So I got to have some fun this morning as my mouse (Glorious Model D- mk1) decided to die on my this morning.
The sensor no longer seems to be working.

Stripped entire mouse, gave it a good clean, hoping it would work, but no. It is dead.
Which leaves me due to replace it.

Iv had an itch for a while to replace a few things:
Mouse and Keyboard - Corsair K70 + Glorious Model D
Corsair LL120 fans (LEDs are dying and ICue is terrible)
CPU cooler (be quiet! Dark Rock 4)
Phanteks P600S

Everything bought in 2020.
Now I actually really still like my case, but its gotten really dusty (I have pets too) - So any advice on how to give it a full restore essentially, give it a real deep clean.

Replacements I am looking at:
Mouse: Logitech G Pro Wireless
Keyboard: Logitech G 915 Wireless
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360
Fan: 1x Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM

So now this really got me thinking, how often do others replace peripherals, Cases, Fans and things that get driven daily by you.
Also if you have any other feedback or advice on what I am looking to buy, let me know.

I want the wireless stuff as my PC is connected to the TV and I like some couch gaming sometimes, but I also like M&K.

My case and the fans within it are 8 years old and still all going strong (including the heatsink as a carry over from the previous 6700k build).

The keyboard and mouse were replaced last year after the previous set did about 6 years (keyboard died after a drink got dropped knocked on it and the mouse has gone in the laptop bag as it was a basic mouse and still works well enough for avoiding using a track pad).

My old case and fans are still going too within the family (Antec 300 inc the 2 fans it came with and a pair of enermax batwing fans), though one of the Antec fans has started making a noise apparently.

Are you sure it isn't just resting? :)

If you have cats they will want to rest on top of the case, blocking airflow.

When they fail or I get something substantially better (e.g. quieter fans).

Pretty sure at this point xD its time to say farewell, its been 4 long years of full wfh use and gaming use... its been a good ride.

My cats already dont sit on my pc :) I have the case and all that, the top is also closed, so for now they havent developed that habit (6 years going)

Turns out I am useless at using the reply system too xD

M+K only if they break, something fancy comes along like when mechanicals became a thing, or my needs changed like from a full size to a mini keyboard etc. But it's rare.

Fans tend to only be bought for new builds, unless they break, which is very rare.

Coolers, never on their own. But then I'm on custom water on all my systems bar mini pc's. On anything with air, I'd buy a good cooler and then never replace it, unless upgrading the system and being a new one for new socket/higher heat load.

Mouse and keyboard: I usually keep these for a long time, I can have trouble finding ones I like so generally until they break unless something really takes my fancy. I've been running my current Logitech G402 since 2019 at this point, it's still working perfectly so I've zero plans on changing it.
Monitor: When screen tech advances enough that I know I'll see an appreciable improvement, I'm currently holding out on a well priced OLED ultrawide and next gen GPU's.
Heatsinks/Fans/Cases: Very rarely, as long as I'm getting the performance (temps, sound levels) that I want and the case doesn't look look worn to bits I'm not too fussed. Although when I do a full system build rather than an upgrade I'll generally get a new case, usually so I can bundle the old PC off to family, so every 3-4 gens of hardware maybe?
Gamepad: Pretty rarely, I recently switched from an Xbox Series X controller I'd used for 2-3 years to an 8bitdo Ultimate (HAAL sensors) largely because the Xbox pad developed drift.

I can't be bothered with the change and relearning, mostly due to not gaming much, but then there's no point anyway if i'm not heavily into the hardware side. I'm sure there's probably better stuff now that would be of preference, but a mechanical KB won't change my QoL. I also have a spare XB 360 controller cause they just work, no need to change there.

I could change monitor again, but i have an OLED for sofa gaming now, so a difficult upgrade vs cost.

Fans are fans when it comes to casual play, and headphones block out any of the rev ups from the GPU and CPU Artic Freezer cooler.
