Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of getting a sub £100 2.1 set for my PC now, then use that at uni 7 months down the line.
But I don't need to get it right now because I have a crappy Dell soundbar for the odd youtube video etc and a Yamaha 5.1 Home Cinema kit for music (which I wont be taking -im assuming there wont be enough room)
So I need to know if I invest in a 2.1 kit now, there won't be a drastically better product on the market 7 months away. (also in part I need to justify buying this with my PC
)
