Im just Curious too see how often it gets done due to having a feeling you service your cars much less then we do:p
Please state what your car is aswell:)

My 93 V6 Camry gets Serviced every 5000kms or 3 months, what ever is soonest:)(which is slightly longer then Average down here)

Do an oil (+ ATF) change every 6 months and a minor service every year.

Yearly services is air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter and spark plugs.

My car tells me when it requires a service - it works this out based on type of driving the car does, ie number of cold starts, etc. The base is 15k miles but it goes up or down depending on driving style.

Last got serviced at 45k in Nov 05
Then 62k in Feb 06
Now its on 82k

I've been a bit slack with it :o

If it told me when it wanted servicing i'd get it done though.

Mine tells me, not sure how, if it's based on miles or what...just says on the display in the middle, service due. Although I do it every year or 10k miles...which ever is first...

Mine counts down from 10000 miles on the dash screen. When it gets down to 1500 miles to go it flashes every time you start the car - rather annoying.

In terms of time, this is every few months.

Every 12000 miles or every year, whichever comes first, which is the mileage by a long way at the moment!

Other than that, just general maintenance, tyres, brake pads, oil top ups, don't see much need to do more than the manufacturer guidelines at the moment.

As the service suggests. 2 years or 20,000miles with a check/top up inbetween.

Although the oil gets changed yearly (around 8k in the past but it's risen recently). So yearly I guess :p

Remember kids, changing your oil every 500 miles is cool.

LOL maybe on a 125cc 2 stroke! (my aprilia rs125 way back when needed it every 1000klm)

Service the mondeo every 8000miles or so, car usually looses mpg and performance around that anyhow... so oil, plugs, leads, filters, etc.... bring it back to its best.

Does anyone ever bother changing gearbox oil?
