I've got a coolermaster 430 and I really don't want dust to build up on the gpu fan , cpu fan ect. How often should I clean it? And with what? Thanks :)

1 once every 2-3 months I would say but how is it like in your house, do you have any pets like cats and dogs because they create a lot dust so it depends.

If you have dust filters on your case then you really shouldn't get a lot. Cases play a big role in keeping dust out. I get little too no dust in my case or any case I have had in the past.

Just check it every few months, a hand held hoover is always handy. If cleaning the fans make sure to hold them when hoovering as it's been known if they spin faster than the recommended RPM you can damage them.

If your case doesn't have them, fit some dust filters.

I check once a week using an air duster, but as I have 9 fans on my case to worry about, including a rather silly 36cm one, it does gather dust quicker than your average rig.

I would like some dust filters but I don't think I could get them big enough for some of the fans on my case, heh.

I have a 50L Air Compressor in the garage so I spray my whole PC out with that. If its a small job I just use the Air Spray Cans ;)

Thanks guys, and yeah I've got a cat and also my case is on the floor, unfortunately near a keyboard which seems to get dust on it a lot :/ I think my computer is going to be relocated to the top of my desk soon.

Every 3 months should be fine even in the most dustiest of houses. As Buchanan0204 said.. Cases/dust filters play a big part on how much dust build-up you get inside but even the worst case in a dusty old house with no filters on once every 3 months will be enough to keep everything OK. (unless you have some huge OC that is borderline with temps)
