I started on Amstrad, some Amigas. Dabbled in consoles for a while, owned a NES and N64 but only ever those. Not owned a console since.

My first gaming experiences went > zx spectrum > commodore > atari > amiga > nes > master system > snes > megadrive > x86 laptop > psx/n64 > ps2, (never touched a dreamcast) gaming pc pentium 2 > p4 gaming pc > core2duo pc/ps3/xbox 360/wii > i7 pc

Roughly I've always been a gaming addict, yes I got started at an early age. Mainly because my parents were constantly working I guess.

To answer the OP's question: I'm 27 and been gaming for around 20 years now. My first machine was a 386 with a Hercules card and an amber screen.
