How old is this football kit

I've just moved into a 70s house and found this old looking wallpaper hidden away behind a walk in wardrobe. Does the kit give away how old it is?

I would half watch football back in the early 80's and I think that was Southampton's kit then.

Oh wow pretty old then! The last owner had been there since the late 70s and raised their family there so it must the original kids room. Its held up pretty well (but has been in the dark for however many decades)
