Had an engineer out to install a new modem for me. He was quite surprised to find I was still using my original e-mail address given to me when I first joined NTL circa 2001.

So, at 6 years old am wondering if anyone has any older ones still active?

My work address is 8 years old.

My Hotmail account is probably 10 years old. Maybe a bit more.

I registered my first Hotmail email address in 1999, I later abandoned it as I was about 12 at the time and it was in LeETSPEaK

I tried to log into it a couple of years ago and it must have been purged as it was available for registration

I got my yahoo address in 1997 before going to work abroad, so 10 years then.:)

I remember looking on the internet with a 14.4 modem for topless pictures of Geri Halliwell, oh dear. :o :p

Not sure how old exactly, but I bought my domain when I was at uni so probably 1999/2000 and I've been using email through the domain since then.

I registered my hotmail address in 1998 and still use it today. Althought now I have my work adress and various other personall addresses with the like of google etc.

4-5 years. Since I reached maturity I realised I'd better get one with my name in it rather than some ridiculous words.

hotmail (full of spam, so hardly ever check it) about 8 years i guess, maybe more

gmail for about 3 years

Any of you old schoolers ever played Ultima Online? It was the first MMORPG ever as it launched in 1997, I played it for an average of perhaps 4 hours a day from 1998 to 2004, absolutely amazing game but christ I must have actually spent hundreds of thousands of hours playing it :)

It wasn't the first. I was in the beta for Meridian 59 which must have been around Xmas 1995/early 1996. Then I played The Realm (end of 96, maybe 97?) where my wife would spend hours dressing my character in the shops and changing the colour of all my clothes ...

Before that I used to play Warcraft II on a closed, dial-up network system called Wireplay run by BT @ something like 3p a minute. My phone bills were shocking

Ahh, thank you for the trip down memory lane :)

i'm still using my original ntl address (from about 2000), and a hotmail address that I think I created in about 99/00.

I've even still got most of my normal emails from the past 6 years.

I've used a lot of free email address (Hotmail and Gmail) for a few years (Not as long with Gmail though).

I recently bought my own domain name and started using it with that, nearly coming onto one year now.

benkk.com ;)

Still got my original Freeserve address from when Freeserve first appeared (anyone remember the year?) These days I only get the Gamespy weekly newsletter through it, plus maybe one or two spam messages a month.

Main email is my domain which I must've had for about 10 or so years by now.

Just changed my gamespy email address to the domain, so it's "bye-bye" Freeserve....
