On saturday my Sister and bro In Law went to see The Killers at the NEC and I looked after my 6 year old nephew. I've mentioned him before on here - he is now quite excellent on the drums and since he was a baby he's shown a real interest in rock music (especially Zeppelin, The Who, U2, Green Day, Robbie, The Killers etc). His mum and dad were coming home when they got a phone call off a mate saying his 15 year old son had been rushed into hospital and would they like a couple of free tickets for sunday night. They snapped his hand off and my sister decided to take my 6 year old nephew since he's mad on The Killers. He rang me up at 6 pm and he hasn't stopped talking about his first rock concert
I was quite late when I saw my first concert. I was 13 when I either saw Led Zeppelin or Status Quo in 1971 (honestly can't remember who was first).
Not counting your Dad or Uncles band, how old were you when you first saw a proper rock band and who was it?
