How on Earth do you get OpenRGB to work with ram?

I've tried every Google search under the sun, and I cannot get anything to work. The main problem is that Linux won't let me drag files into the bin folder or the other couple of folders it needs. Like, okay, I'll open it as admin... Nope, still not doing anything. Okay, I'll just run the script I found on Google... Does nothing! I'll download the Flatpak version instead of the one on the site, as some people have said... Nope!

How? I've spent four hours today and given myself a headache. Linux is not going to work until these companies start making their motherboard drivers, so I don't have to go through all this, lol.

What board/ ram ?

Not all devices are enabled by default within openRGB

x670-I from ASUS and Kingston Fury X, what's weird is my X570-I board with GSkill Trident Z works fine.

Check you have the above modules loaded.

I wouldn't even know how to check that, I'm brand new to the OS because I got sick of Windows. However just doing basic things on Linux is not intuitive, to be more specific I'm using Bazzite. Everyone is like "this is amazing try it" on Youtube and how far it has come, but if I want to do anything it's a day of troubleshooting lol.

Isn't there a package I can install with all this done?

I know I need to to run this script, but I run it and it puts a folder into my downloads where the script is. I assume I have to put the files into the location, but it's all protected :/ So I run it as admin and it still wont let me. I saw someone using terminal to do it, so I tried his command and it did it the opposite to what I wanted lol. So then I had to reinstall Bazzite as it messed stuff up.

All I want is to have RGB turned off!

When with motherboards build the function to control RGB on the GPU and Ram in the BIOS?

If it's not intuitive to you in the way you think it should be maybe it's not for you. If someone has told you "It's like windows" they've lied to you.

Not used bazzite to be honest however I'd presume it has a terminal program like kconsole/xterm ect.

copy the command I posted and paste it into the terminal.

It may well be that particular ram isn't supported though.

I've tried for weeks trying to get it to work, I'm just too stupid or you need to be John Carmack, but every single guide on sites like github.... None of it works.

I just resorted to opening up the ram and the GPU and unplugging the wire lol.
