How quiet is the HSF on intel retail packs?

Hi,
I am going to try and get a semi quiet computer. Was wondering how loud the standard heatsink fan is on the one included in the intel retail packs (for the q6600).

Are there any cheapish (don't want to be spending an awful lot on a heatsink fan, but will if its worth it) quiet heatsink fans?

Quiet but can get noisy under load, if looking for silence theres much better out there.

Pretty quiet, the motherboard control of the fan is good. But you could get the likes of the Tuniq or Thermalright big tower HS and run it with a volt modded silent fan.

I've got:

E6750 with Retail Fan
1x 120mm Case Fan @7V
1x 92mm Case fan @7V
8800GTS
Samsung (O/S drive)
Raptor (Games Drive)
Samsung SATA DVD

Everything is nice and quiet, the only noises that rise above background noise, are:

8800GTS "whooshing" occasionally. I think this is the fan speed getting increased for a second or so, to help keep the temps down.

DVD drive spinning up / reading a disk

Raptor seeking (although MUCH quieter in my new case, compared to the old one!)
