How reliable is this ?

Hi ALL I,m interested to know how reliable is the enablement dates for B.T WBC service ? this is what my Exchange on Samknows says :

BT Wholesale have updated the Wholesale Broadband Connect (WBC) enablement date for the Letchworth exchange to 31/03/2009 (Was previously 18/11/2008)

I thought it had been first quarter 2009 for some time. If it happens is another matter. Remember when BT upgraded to 2 Mb? I was 18 months late.

Somewhere between 100% and not at all.

It's whatever has been set for the exchange. Mine was enabled in April this year.

until a month ago, mine was set at Q3 2009, now its set for Q3 2011

Well look at all the other deadlines associated with 21CN and take an average of how late they were, then add that to your quoted date

Also note BT's "Activation Dates" only signal the start of upgrade work at the exchange, it could be a further number of months before the upgrade is completed for all customers.

Yeah i think this too , so you think that going with LLU is a better choice than wait until March 2009 for the suposed Exchange gets 21CN ? :confused:

yup, most LLU offers shorter contracts of 3-6 months so you can stick with that until you can get 21CN. Plus no one knows if 21CN will be any good yet as it's not got anyone on it thus there's no real stress on it yet.
