Been looking for new phone for some weeks now, the more I looked into spec's and what you can get for your £ I really thought it possible to get an AMOLED for budget money with a decent price. To that end I found the Redmi K30 Ultra, but I'm really unsure what I am getting into. From band compatibility to support/warranty IF a problem happened?

Any pearls of wisdom?

Band 20 is usually one of the more important bands to keep an eye out for if you want decent 4G as that's the one that offers wide coverage. If you order it from the EU, warranty is usually not an issue.

What's your price range and what are you looking for in a phone?

I bought an Asus, no band 20, even though it said it did, but that's another story.
Anyway, no band 20 meant pretty much everywhere I didn't have 4G, very annoying!

Band 20 is the only real loss you see from non global phones. So basically operator/mvno like sky, tesco (O2) and voxi (Vodafone) I think, running off O2 or vodafone will suffer from not having band 20 for 4g as they are their primary 4g bands. They do use a few other bands sometimes in cities. If you are 3 or ee you won't have many issues as they don't use much band 20 and tend to use the other main ones band 3 primarily if I remember correctly.

I too really like the look of this phone but I'm currently with Vodafone so the lack of band 20 puts me off. I'm currently looking out for when the realme X7 pro goes global as this has similar specs. It's due to go global soon but no actual date that I have seen yet.
