How run The Stanley Parable (Suurce Engine) at more than 60Hz?

As title. I'm overclocking my monitor and want to run this game at 75hz, 75fps vsynced.

With Half Life 2 (source engine obviously) after a fair bit of trouble searching I found that adding "-refresh 75" to the start up parameters works, but the same trick doesn't work for The Stanley Parable.

Any ideas?

Anyone?

It's bugging me the number of games that seem to be hard locked at 60fps. Even less reasons to upgrade to 120hz monitors now it seems.

I don't understand how the game would even benefit from running at 75hz? Not like its a fast paced game or anything...

It's just after having an Eizo Foris FG2421 for a week (RMA'd as it was faulty, like nearly all of them but that's another story) I'm now keen on running games at as high Hz, but still Vsynced, as possible. Even for slow paced stuff like Stanley it's just more pleasant when panning the view around, noticeably less motion blur, even at minor bump of 75Hz and just a nicer experience.

There just doesn't seem to be any consistency as to how games behave though when trying to run past 60Hz. For some it's easy, others require inf mods, parameter launch tweaks etc etc. It's just a ball ache.
