How should I destroy my mouse?

Logitech support is awesome, my middle button on the trusty MX1000 is failing and I reported the issue to Logitech who are due to send me a new mouse but first I have been asked to destroy it and take a pic (I have done this once before with another MX1000 for the same issue but since I like MX1000 too much I will do it again!).

So... how should I destroy it this time?! last time I drove over it

Lol! They obviously want some 'clear' evidence its destroyed, so fire is out of the question

My curious side would take it apart & see whats-what

Stake through the heart. Sledgehammer. Use it as a baseball. Make a bottle rocket with a detachable payload once it reaches 100ft. Really your options are limited only by your imagination and tools to hand.

How about a mouse trap? or attack it with a drill until it looks like swiss cheese!

Strange to think it's cheaper to replace the mouse than put a new microswitch in!

hang it up and set fire to it, watching the flames lick up the wire........love to smell napalm ....you know the rest

I'm having the exact same problem with my mouse at the moment, just waiting for a reply to my support ticket.
