How should I go about overclocking my system ?

Computer spec:

AMD 4000+ San Diego (Socket 939)
DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR
2 GB Corsair PC3200 Ram
Thermalright XP-120 (with YSTech 120mm fan)

I am attempting to overclock my processor to FX 57 speeds as I read that this is possible, I would like for one of you to be able to explain to me how to go about doing this ?
