Ok

This a strange one since I've had fibre I've notice speed difference via wifi that is mainly cos I now got 78mb when I use be on 21mb.

What happens is when I use wifi sweet spot app on iPhone it tells me the wifi speed where ever I am most time I get 350mb but sometime it drops right down to 18 this is how I notice slow internet speed. I change channels and it goes back up but surely I can't keep changing channel. Even if I leave in auto it doesn't do it trick.

So wondering how can I stabilise it better or is this the culture of wifi?

I guess if neighbours wifi are on auto this what cause problem as there channel keeps changing? If I went and set one side to 1 mine to 6 other side to 11 could this help?

Get an analyse app and see what channels are in use the pick the least congested channel and that's all you can do really.

2.4 isn't very wide is it as it soon slow down further I move away.

5gz is still at my high speed in my furthest room in house

Its normally entirely opposite to that in my experience. I'd suggest that the channel you router is on currently for 2.4 is very crowded.

Do you have anything radio controlled in the house? Baby monitors etc?

They will interfere with 2.4Ghz. It sounds like that or the spectrum is just too crowded in your area.
