This is old but I've never seen it mentioned on here and for me this is quite a feasible theory.

Past theories include a massive ramp, a circular ramp, lifting machines and the one I preferred when I was a lad - Aliens.
Anyway, these French dudes have come up with a theory with quite a bit of backup which makes it all obvious now.

The plugin is worth loading for the 3D films too.

Heads up

HISTORY DOCUMENTARY: Timewatch
On: BBC 2 Midlands (102)
Date: Saturday 28th March 2009 (starting in 1 hour and 13 minutes)
Time: 20:25 to 21:15 (50 minutes long)

Pyramid - The Last Secret.
For centuries archaeologists have been trying to work out how the ancient Egyptians raised huge stone blocks to the top of the Great Pyramid. This documentary presents a radical new theory by French architect Jean-Pierre Houdin. He believes that an internal ramp was used, which is still inside the Pyramid waiting to be discovered. If he is right, it is the greatest discovery since Tutankhamun.

Ok, the way around that, due to these things taking years to build, is to start it off with 5-6 pregnant women doing all the work, over time their offspring would inbreed and create a workforce of thousands of retards who all knew no better life.

Hey presto, job done.

That actually made me laugh out loud.

It's also interesting to know that Zahi Hawass who is the Secretary General of The Supreme Council of Antiquities in Egypt wrote a Forward for this blokes book.

On my recent trip to the Pyramids (in April) I was just about to enter the Great Pyramid when I told my Guide about the new theory and he looked up and said "Very good, sounds plausible but that isn't the greatest mystery, the greatest mystery is how did they get all the blocks from Aswan?".
After that I kept staring at the Nile thinking about 1000s upon 1000s of boats carrying blocks down the Nile.

Zahi Hawass the Curator of Egyptian Antiquities is a very hard man to get past and he has taken this mans theories on board and wrote the forward in his book and for me I also believe it's how it was done.

There is another fascinating documentary called Curiosity S01E11 Egypt What Lies Beneath on National Geographic channel if you can get to see it.
This features a woman archeologist who is using satellite technology to find new Egyptian sites and she has struck gold.
She showed Zahi Hawass an area around Saqqara and he gave permission for her to dig and they have found a corner of a lost pyramid.
Zahi Hawass reckons that just at that site there will be at least 50 years of digging.
This woman has gone on to find around 1500 more sites including the Temple where Tutankhamun was born.
