How the Hell can anyone eat Grapefruit?

they are challenging for purchasing avoiding too thick skins,
and, the most challenging for peeling, and segregating(sic) ... usually prep them them for breakfast on previous days, and fridge them
serrated knives no good for removing pith, I'd like a more appropriate veg knife.

don't buy tinned but they're manually done too - no ? after acid bath
 
Pink grapefruit is lovely once you've peeled all the skin off the segments but it does mean it's too much of a pain in the bum for me to bother with very often.
