How the hell do you uninstall Steam?

It doesn't show up in my Windows 11 app list, so I can't uninstall that way. I've ran the uninstall.exe from the installation folder, but it's still on my system and can be ran as per usual.

Perhaps install revo uninstaller and it should remove the left over components and clean up for you.

Grab the steam installer, reinstall over the top. Should put the missing registry entries back.

No, it's not showing up anywhere in Windows, despite it obviously being installed and working. Anyhow, I got sick and tired of trying to uninstall it so just nuked (formatted) the Games drive and reinstalled it on my new SSD.

Steam can run "portable" without actually been installed

Beware if you want to keep any screenshots, make sure to back them up first! Uninstalling deletes them too.. found out the hard way.
