As above, in my current project I have tight spaces to work with and I want to water cool my 290 Tri-X but need to know how thick a 290 is with a full cover block installed?

Is it around 20mm? Thicker? Or thinner?

Thanks

Thanks for adding jack to the thread? Maybe stay out of threads if you don't plan on helping.

Thinner than with a stock/aftermarket cooler? I'd say 20MM is a good avg but I can't see why it'd matter?

If it's a case of fittings then any decent block will have them outside of the card, here's a pic of mine to explain what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/e4NJXb6.jpg & http://i.imgur.com/IgnzVXS.jpg

It's matters because I said it does..

It's because he's trying to squeeze a full loop into a Q25B - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18602655

Depends on the block though ;)
I'll need to find a tape measure to find the thickness with a FC-EK block on one if you want, doesn't look much over 20mm (1 slot) tbh.

This is an EK copper/acetal block,
Card itself with backplate 20mm, however the bit the barbs screw into sticks down another 1mm, and the Ek blanking plugs 2mm further
23.5mm at it's thickest point.

pics not very good but I tried :P
