How to 7v case fans ?

It would not be recomended so often and in the sticky if it was not easy or if it was risky.

You can also get these little adapters which to the crossover for you, about £2 they cost. OcUK may have some under cables ---> Other.

They are a bit expensive considering, but they are 100% risk free, not 99% :p

And read the Sticky next time :p

/Bloomin new people spamming :D

EDIT: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Other_Cables_153.html

They only seem to have a 3pin 12v to 10v adapter. A competitor stocks them I am sure; although I see why OcUK don't as they are a bit pointless when it is so easy!

I'll just get me fans out tomorrow and hand them to my old man and get him to to the modifcation needed, lol when it comes to fine detailed work I have a hard time. too small for me, I don't have poor eye sight but it has caused me to blow upa PC or two in my time.

Sounds like me :D

I have made some 'modifications' to old motherboards using switches soldered on instead of jumpers for switching options in bios and clearing the cmos, but I didn't label them.

About 10 switches and no idea what any did :D

Sounded good in my head before I did it :p

plonker, did it go bang in the end ??

No just took about 300 combinations of the switches to get it to boot.

Way I had wired it on the particular motherboard the combinations were quite tricky.

Never again :p

Remind me not to trust you with a soldering iron.

How dare you question my soldering ability, perfectly good, neat solders!

Just what I soldered to what was the problem :p

I think it may be a contender for a replica enigma machine, binned the motherboard long ago unfortunately :(
