For those of us lucky enough to have one, here's a guide for boosting your TouchPads performance :)

Set Dev ModeStart the Phone app on the TouchPad, dial ##LOGS#, clear logs and set to minimal logging (this is easy, DO NOT set a password when the card comes up after developer mode is enabled. Just swipe the card off the screen)

Install Preware on Laptop:You might need to update your version of Java if it doesn’t work.

Connect Touchpad but choose just charge (not USB mode.) The app should recognize your touchpad.

Update the feeds from the app.Search for Preware. Install it. You will then have a Preware app on the Touchpad/Pre and then pretty much everything else can be done directly from the Touchpad or from the PC connection.

Then first things to do for performance is to install the below. This is as simple as just searching for the apps and clicking on them to install.

1) Fire up Preware, navigate to Available Other > All and install EOM Overlord Monitoring. This kills the processes that uploads log files to Palm. This also saves on unnecessary bandwidth being consumed without your knowledge.
2) Patches
* Make It So
* Muffle System Logging
* Remove Dropped Packet Logging
* Unset CFQ IO Scheduler
* Unthrottle Download Manager
* Quiet powerd Messages
* Faster Card Animations HYPER Version
* Increase Touch Sensitivity And Smoothness 10 (this is the 10px version)

Then, for ultimate points.

In Preware under Kernels you should see one called “Uberkernel”. Again, just click to install. Will take a little longer.

When rebooted install the Monitoring utility called “Govnah”.

Within “Govnah” click on

Profile -> Advanced Settings -> CPU frequency -> Max Frequency -> Select 1.512 -> Apply.

I think when you reset the touchpad this goes back to the default but it is easy enough to do as per the above.

had to add skype account, then go to dialer, couldnt do "logs" but ##5647# works :)

or do it this way...

1. Open the Device Info applet on the Settings page of the launcher.
2. Select Diagnostics in the menu at the top left drop down box.
3. Select Collect Logs from the menu at the top left drop down box.
4. Tap Change Logging Levels
5. Tap Set Logging To Minimal
