I know how you add a Network Place in XP, but can it be done with OSX?

I mean, is there a way to store the link and password, like XP, so I can drag and drop items?

If we're talking FTP then Panic Transmit is the best I've seen in OS X.

Although you have to pay for the full edition

Yep

Transmit is easily worth the money though, I used to use fetch before shelling out the cash and its far better

erm, paying....for an FTP client.....on a BSD box.....

I knew Mac users had more money than sense

Finder speaks ftp (although rather annoying, not sftp); Fugu and Cyberduck are completely free, Fetch is free if you are affiliated with an academic institution and of course.....

Some of us bought a Mac because we wanted a simpler life, so Cyberduck is what i use
