Hi there, I recently upgraded my PC and installed vista on a new hard disk. I left my old disk in with my old install of windows XP, with the intention of formatting it soon and using it for storage.
However, i've just remembered that i left a couple of files on the desktop. When i try to navigate to the desktop from within Vista, i get stuck with various 'access denied' type messages. At one point i'm told i need to view the security settings for the drive, but when i try to i'm told i don't have permission to.
Any ideas how to force my way through? Thanks.
