Hi.

I have 1800mhz 8GB of corsair vengeance ram I'm running stable at 2200mhz

I could possible go slightly higher but i think i start getting problems at around 2500mhz

Could i ask what's needed to run stable at lets say 2800mhz

Cpu is 4770k
Mobo msi mpower max

Need any other info please ask
I'm clocked at 4ghz on my cpu and that's stable.

My last question is will running at 2800 have a real bad life cycle on my ram and how much extra head will be produced

Kindest regards
David

You won't be doing 2800mhz on vengeance (unless they're hynix mfr), you'll be doing welll to hit 2400mhz at tight enough timings with those. Personally think 2200 is good going for vengeance, what timings are you using?

Hi, if i could introduce you to another post of mine i have screen shots of all men info http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18553325

The problem is now resolved on this though. I'm now running duel channel.

Can i tighten my timing up on what I have? Per perhaps tweak it a little more any thoughts would be appreciated

Theres a chance you can tighten those up. Not sure how much though as Im not sure what ICs those DIMMs use. I'd try 11-11-11 first and work down from there tightening the timings a little at a time and testing. TRFC seems very high to me though.

Buy some 2600mhz - 2800mhz RAM if you wanna achieve these speeds with performance timings.

Corsair bin very selectively so you don't see there low mhz kits scaling like that.
