So I have some deinised water, and am soon to get the rest of my kit and some dye, but do I do a full run with just the water and then add a drop to the res, power the pump to move the water, add another drop until all the water is blue? Or shall I premix it in a jug out of the case and then pour it into the loop before fist run?

Thanks
Freddie :)

Either would be fine. Unless its a syrup! (Which it would not be).

I would add it a drop at a time till you get the colour you want. Very difficult to tell in a jug!

I did my mayhems uv dye a drop at a time in the res, let it disperse fully into the loop so you can see the effect and decide if you want to add more.

+1 this is the easiest way, to get the colour and shade that you want in a loop :)
just drop little droplets in via the reservoir, from memory my full loop only took about 5-6 droplets for a nice deep blue color :)
