I've tried several distroes, including making my own desktop environment with Arch Linux. However, every time I use Gnome I can't seem to adjust mouse sensitivity properly. I'm using a Logitech G5. I've tried adjusting it in Preferences>Mouse, but no matter how I adjust Acceleration and Sensitivity my mouse pointer is still overly sensitive. How can I adjust it properly? Whenever I use KDE it has never been a problem, I can adjust it correctly in KDE...

I'm starting to get used to the sensitivity myself, but I get reminded about how it should be every time I boot up Vista :p .

Thanks for the tip, but I'm pretty sure modifying xorg.conf would give me the same result as btnx, although I've only mapped the backward button on the side of the mouse.
