How to adjust sharpness on 2407FWP

I went for it and got the 2407 this morning, cracking monitor, but a niggle, have got my macbook plugged in via VGA and the text looks a little fuzzy,,,
When i auto adjust it gets it just right but then "fuzzes" it right at the end, and it seems the sharpness option in the OSD is greyed out so i can't change it

Is this due to it being plugged into VGA as its starting to hurt my head now?

Cant select sharpness, have got Pixel Clock available but not sharpness, ohh well, seems playing with the contrast and brightness has helped.

VGA cable is the one form the box

Just had a play, on 1680*1050 i can change sharpness, wide mode etc.
However, 1920*1200 i cannot :S

Am i missing something obvious here?
