Ive got a WDTV live box in the bedroom connected to a USB drive with media on it, however I'd prefer to automatically get the files on my mac downstairs.
wifi is very dodgy as its an old bungalow with solid walls, so I've ruled that out.
Now question is how would i set up homeplugs to share my files over the house?
upstairs would be cable to WDTV ethernet port, downstairs would it be from the mac or from the router? the router is a virgin media superhub.
