How to attach 120mm case fan?

I have the Antec Superlanboy case and the stock 120mm rear case fan was attached with rubber screws (?) to dampen noise. I broke them whilst removing the fan. Now I want to put in a Sharkoon 1000 120mm fan and was wondering whether to just use standard metal screws or whether there is someplace to buy these rubber screws. Does anyone know? Thx.

Just use some metal fan screws mate,will do just fine

I used metal screws when I had to cut the rubber ones that came with my Antec. I actually found that there is now far less vibration noise, as you can do the screws up far harder (pinning the fan to the case).

So, personally, I wouldn't worry about trying to find new rubber ones.

Doesn't the Sharkoon come with rubber gromits? Could be wrong. Hope you know the ones I mean,the type that you pull through the case and through the fan.My Sharkoon Eagle 1000 came with them.

I've just bought 9 of the Sharkoons for my MountainMOds U2-UFO, and they do indeed come with a set of rubber grommits

Cheers guys, I'll try the rubber ones that come with the Sharkoon. Not sure what those rubber screws were called but grommits sound good
