basically i got a new monitor from ocuk, loving it but unfortunately because of the design of it the put where the stand attaches to the monitor is stopping me from using this desk mount which is very very annoying as the monitor doesn't fit on my desk atm so can't use it.

so turning to you guys to help me out and find a way for me to get this attached to this without any cutting if possible.

the back of the monitor just incase:

the size of the vesa thing is 75, but as the desk mount is for 75 and 100 it doesn't fit in the 4 wholes

I don't understand the problem. The stand has the holes for 75 and 100. Your monitor has vesa 75 holes. Just use the 75 holes? Or do you mean it's because the back of the monitor is slightly recessed? That should be a problem as the screws will no doubt be fine.

if you look at the picture i took you can see the part where the stand (lgither grey) attachs to the monitor. when you remove the stand there is 2 big bits sticking out which is preventing the mount attaching the thats where the 100 holes would be. sos for not explaining right

I was in the same situation with my Samsung and just chopped down the VESA mount with a hacksaw and filed it off, it only took five minutes.

guess thats what im gonig to have to do then. reason i didn't want to was just incase i wanted to use the mount for the other monitor one day i would be able to, but i then the thing only cost £25 with p&p so not so bad to have to get another i suppose.
