Just had to install Ubuntu 12.04 onto my NAS after the system drive had died.

However the old version use to boot automatically into linux, however 12.04 just sits at the GRUB? page waiting for me to select Ubuntu.

How can I change it so it boots automatically?

Thanks

Kimbie

GRUB normally boots the first option automatically after a few seconds does it not?

That is what I thought, so I did a full reinstall and first time through and the reboot after hte updates it booted automatically.

However when rebuilt my raid array and rebooted it just sits on the GRUB screen, if I then tell it to book, it complains about my degraded array which I know about, however in the infratools mdam.conf file it is set to book even with a degraded array and its not.
