No way, you would be able to see a servo connected to the steering if it was. Which you can't see one.
You don't have to see a servo for it to be connected, but I still doubt that 3 year old did that without driving into anything....

No offence you would be able to see whether it is connected. There is no shrowd over the wheels and front area. You would need a very large servo to move the front wheels too, which would be in a viewable place. Then you have an 18v battery, finding an esc that can take 18v with the current flow would not come cheap at all, we are talking like £200.

Also another point is that it was still controller perfectly round the other side of the car with no visibility.

Meh, my son was doing stuff like that at 3. We had the semi truck version of it. But I hadn't converted it to 18V, though.

You guys think that's bad, wait until I've finished building the gokart for my son!! 18hp petrol engine on a modified riding lawn mower chassis, 3 speed gearbox, fully variable foot throttle, disc brakes (rear axle only), turf tyres front and rear, electric start with headlamps, air horn, and if I let him have access to all three gears, probably a top speed of about 25-30mph!!! :D

Will be getting plenty of video footage when I get it all together.
